Mr. Miller joins the firm as Partner in the Litigation Department and concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation.  He has extensive experience representing general contractors and sub-contractors in all aspects of construction litigation, including claims relating to unpaid retainage, change orders, back-charges, scope of work disputes, and bid challenges.

In addition, Mr. Miller regularly represents businesses and their owners in litigation concerning business dissolution (business divorce), non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, breach of contract claims, and insurance coverage disputes.  Mr. Miller also counsels clients on commercial leases, joint venture agreements, and negotiating the complex local and state regulations that affect their businesses.

Mr. Miller is an active member of the Construction Exchange of Western New York, where he serves on its Education Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for The Service Collaborative of Western New York, where he is the treasurer and finance chair.  Mr. Miller has been named to Who’s Who in Law (WNY) for commercial litigation by Buffalo Business First and as a Rising Star in business litigation by Superlawyers.

Since 2012, Mr. Miller  has served as the Acting Justice for the Village of Kenmore.
