On April 6, 2018 the New York State Division of Human Rights issued an Order After Investigation finding “No Probable Cause” in favor of a local municipality represented by Ted Graney. The claimant filed a complaint alleging gender discrimination, hostile work environment, discrimination based upon disability and retaliation. Mr. Graney worked closely with his client to prepare a detailed response to the charges set forth in the complaint and supported the municipality’s request for a dismissal with a variety of documents disproving the claims brought by the employee. The Regional Director of the Division of Human Rights issued a decision in favor of the municipality, concluded there was no probable cause, and dismissed the complaint in its entirety.
