Ms. McClaren is committed to the representation of management only in both the public and private sectors of the economy, entirely in the fields of labor-management relations and employment law.  Her experience includes negotiating contracts in the public and private sector for profit and not-for-profit organizations, handling grievances and arbitrations, counseling and assistance in the formation and administration of personnel and labor relations policies, both union and non-union, and developing and administering labor relations and employment law practical training and education programs for administrators and employees.  Ms. McClaren is involved in all phases of representation before New York State and federal agencies, including the New York State and federal Departments of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board, the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in representing management in litigation before the New York State and federal courts.  Ms. McClaren is also an adjunct instructor for Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and she has lectured before various groups and employers on a variety of issues, including labor relations law, the effective handling of grievances/arbitrations, employment policy and procedure formation and implementation, affirmative action, effective hiring and discharge, effective discipline, workplace violence, effective evaluations, sexual harassment, diversity and compliance with New York State and federal employment statutes.
